The story revolves around two brothers Mikaal and Mishaal who come to Punjab from Mumbai where they work in different fields such as politics, medicine and law. According to cinematographer Harshil Mehta, Chaar Sahibzaade 2 was shot in 50 days, in a largely unknown construction site in Panchkula because the owner would only rent his land to filmmakers who could not be traced by the police. The film was shot in three schedules where the first one was in Amritsar, Jalandhar and Mumbai while the second schedule took place in Chandigarh and Bhubaneshwar. The third schedule was done in villages of Punjab.
